Mission Statement
Inspired by the Gospel vision of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise de Marillac, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, the Daughters of Charity are given to God, in community, for the service of persons living in poverty.

Attentive to the holy Spirit, we are women who are
Given to God
Deepening our relationship through prayer and Eucharist
Relying on Divine Providence
Imitating Mary, faithful servant and disciple
Living Gospel values handed down from our Founders
Seeing the face of Christ in all those we meet
In Community
Striving for personal and community conversion
Respecting each other's gifts, contributions, and struggles
Strengthening one another
Embracing a simple life style
For the Service of Persons Living in Poverty
Carrying out the mission of the Church as a Society of Apostolic Life
Collaborating with others, particularly members of the Vincentian Family
Advocating to eliminate unjust systems
Working for systemic change
Directional Statement
We, the Province of St. Louise, commit ourselves during the next three years to be bold and available women engaged in a new missionary momentum.
